By employing chromatographic techniques, six triterpenoids (1−6) were successfully isolated from the leaves of Walsura pinnata Hassk. Their structures were elucidated to be cumingianol E (1), 21-O-methyltoosendanpentol (2), 21α-methylmelianodiol (3), 21S,23R-epoxy-3β,24R-dihydroxy-21β,25-dimethoxy-tirucalla-7-en (4), odoratone (5), and cabraleone (6) by detailed analysis of 1D, 2D NMR, and MS spectroscopic data, as well as comparison with previously reported literature. This is the first time compounds 1−6 from W. pinnata were reported.
