Tóm tắt

Bauhinia bracteata Benth. (Fabaceae), commonly known as “Móng bò leo” in Vietnam, is a traditional medicinal plant widely used in several Asian countries, particularly in Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Thailand. Six compounds were isolated and identified as quercetin (1), quercetin-3-O-α-L-arabinofuranoside (2), quercetin-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (3), 4'-O-methylmyricetin-3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (4), 3-(Z)-hexenyl-1-β-D-glucopyranoside (5), and 2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)ethyl-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (6). Their structures were elucidated based on chromatographic techniques and spectroscopic analyses, including HR-ESI-MS and 1D and 2D NMR. Quercetin (1) exhibited the most potent antioxidant activities in scavenging DPPH• and ABTS•+ radicals, with IC50 values of 10.16 (95% CI: 8.74–11.85) and 6.36 (95% CI: 5.73–7.05) µM, respectively.
