Tóm tắt

Alangium salviifolium has been traditionally used for medicinal purposes, such as rheumatism, diabetes, digestive disorders, hypertension, and inflammatory conditions. In this study, a phytochemical investigation of the branches and leaves of A. salviifolium collected in Vietnam was carried out using successive solvent extraction, chromatographic separation, and spectroscopic analyses. Five compounds were isolated and structurally identified as alangiside (1), demethylalangiside (2), astragalin (3), betulinic acid (4), and 22-dehydroclerosterol 3-O-β-ᴅ-glucopyranoside (5). The structures were elucidated based on detailed spectroscopic data, including 1D- and 2D-NMR as well as ESI-MS, supported by comparison with published data. Notably, compound 5 was isolated and identified from A. salviifolium for the first time.
