From the dichloromethane and ethyl acetate extracts of Cissus trilobus seven compounds were isolated and identified as blumenol B (1), blumenol A (2), indole-3-carboxylic acid (3), vitexin (4), cytisoside (5), acacetin-8-C-neohesperidoside (6), and 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (7). These structures were determined through the analysis of NMR and MS spectroscopic data and comparison with the reported literature. These compounds were isolated for the first time from C.trilobus.
